How would you describe yourself?
Perhaps it would be better to ask my wife – or maybe not! In work I want to be known first of all as a man of my word – if I say I’ll do something it will get done. Out of work a family man, married 40 years come May 26,proud father of three and grandfather of three more.
What interests you about your role and Eliot Partnership?
After four decades in in the insurance industry this is such a wonderful opportunity to help great people to find great roles in the industry in this region,
What makes you unique?
30 years in the Middle East but more than that my experience in four countries with multinationals, local family and public companies then finally Lloyd’s has given me a set of lenses through which to look at the industry here that few people have.
What is your biggest asset?
I’ve never lost sleep over work. Pressured yes, but stressed no. Think carefully, make the best call you can with the information you have, then move on (and keep learning from mistakes!)
